How to order a certificate of no criminal record?
To order a certificate of no criminal record, simply send to our email office@nakaz.com.ua:

- indicate why the certificate is needed (tender, embassy, submission in other countries, etc.);

- contact phone number.
The company “Nakaz”, which for many years has successfully provided legal services in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region, offers its clients the opportunity to obtain a certificate of no criminal record without personally visiting the Ministry of Internal Affairs. By entrusting the processing of the certificate to us, you can calmly expect to receive the document at a convenient location for you within one or three days, depending on the tariff you choose.
You will need to do only a few simple things, namely:
- send copies of passport pages 1-2 and the page with residence registration (this refers to the internal passport of a citizen of Ukraine); foreign citizens must provide copies of all pages of a valid identity document;
- state the purpose of obtaining the certificate and to which institution it will be presented.
And that’s all! No visits to offices during strictly specified hours, no waiting outside the door with other applicants, no refusals due to the end of reception hours. Cooperation with our company will spare you all the hassles of dealing with a system that for some reason continues to operate by its own rules and does not consider the convenience of those who use it.
Purpose of the document
A conviction is the legal status of a person acquired after the pronouncement of a guilty verdict in a criminal case. This fact entails both legal and social consequences. In Ukraine, the legislator mentions several situations in which a conviction limits a person’s rights; for example, in electoral law a person with a conviction cannot be nominated as a candidate for deputy, and labor law provides a ban on holding certain positions. Private organizations also have restrictions: a company may either refuse to hire people with convictions altogether or hire them only for certain positions.
It is very difficult to force a person to admit that they have a conviction. It is easier to ask a job applicant to disprove this by presenting a certificate of no criminal record. Very often such confirmation may be needed by persons planning to travel abroad. Already during the process of preparing travel documents — whether it’s the international passport itself or a visa — you will need to obtain the certificate.
Where to obtain a certificate of no criminal record, its types and validity period
All informational requests in the field of crime fighting are answered by the territorial bodies of the Department of Information and Analytical Support. In Kyiv, a certificate of no criminal record can be obtained directly at the Department or at the Information Technology Department of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It is worth noting that at the MIA Department requests can be made from 09:30 to 10:30 and from 14:30 to 15:00, while collection of the ready certificate is possible only from 17:00 to 17:15.
The law provides for two types of certificates of no criminal record:
- For presentation within the territory of Ukraine. The form on which the certificate is printed does not have a protective hologram. Both Ukrainian citizens and foreigners can order this certificate. The validity period of this type of document is 90 days.
- For presentation abroad. Issued on a form with a hologram. The applicant can only be a citizen of Ukraine. Valid for 30 days.
Translation and apostille stamping on the certificate of no criminal record
Documents issued by Ukrainian state authorities cannot be read in their original form by officials of foreign agencies. According to established international practice, a citizen who has collected a package of documents for presentation in another country must arrange for their translation and legalization themselves. Legalization implies that the translation is literal and the legal meaning of the document is preserved; therefore this procedure is carried out by authorized bodies.
Depending on the country for which the documents are intended and the agreements Ukraine has signed, legalization may be carried out by a consul or done under a simplified scheme using an apostille. The apostille on the certificate of no criminal record is affixed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
If you need to urgently obtain a certificate of no criminal record while avoiding bureaucratic delays, or if your work schedule does not allow time to visit the MIA, you can confidently entrust all this to us. This service is also available to foreign citizens.
Our company employees will quickly prepare the application, avoiding the formal mistakes so often made by applicants, and will send it to the relevant authority. The document you need will be ready in the shortest possible time.
The cost of the certificate of no criminal record can be learned during a consultation; its amount will depend on how quickly the document needs to be prepared: within one or three working days.
Additionally, the legal company “Nakaz” can take on the further translation and legalization of the certificate required for presentation abroad.
