State registration of a branch of a public organization
Opening your own branch (separate subdivision) may be necessary for a public association if:
- it is necessary to confirm all-Ukrainian status;
- the association’s activities need to be expanded.
A public association that operates in the form of a legal entity can open a branch.
Registration procedure for a branch
The registration card of the prescribed form and the decision of the main office to create a new subdivision are submitted to the state registrar at the place of registration of the main office of the public association.
The submitted documents are considered within 3 working days.
It is important to understand that errors in the submitted documents will lead to a refusal of registration.
As a general rule, the branch carries out its activities based on the charter of the public association. In some cases it is also possible to approve the regulations of the branch (if this is expressly provided for in the association’s charter, and the subdivision itself is a legal entity).
