New rules for cargo transportation

In December 2013 the Ministry of Infrastructure, by its Decree, approved changes to the Rules for the carriage of goods by road transport.

Finally, waybills, previously required for drivers of freight vehicles, have been eliminated. Now the accompanying document is the consignment note (TTN). Note that the old TTN form was also changed from December 10, 2013 by the same Decree (information about this is contained in Appendix No. 7 to the Rules).

Also, the time of arrival of the vehicle for loading/unloading now coincides with the time of making the corresponding entries in the TTN.

Decree No. 983 comes into force on January 14, 2014.
