On the afternoon of April 17, many Google business client services were temporarily unavailable. According to many users on social networks, they could not access their Google accounts. Users from different parts of the globe reported that they could not access their mailboxes, Google Drive file storage and some other services.
Some users expressed outrage that the “outage” of the internet giant’s services caused confusion in the workflow, as some of them were directly involved in business processes. Most of the complaints concerned issues related to email; when attempting to sign in to their account they received a 500 error (Internal Server Error).
Developers and programmers believe that this event can be considered a challenge for developers from Silicon Valley, because it is their speed of response to this problem that will determine whether this event becomes one of the most discussed topics of the day.
Previously, disruptions in the search engine’s operation were noticeable only to users in isolated parts of the planet; problems of this nature that are global and affected Google users worldwide have been observed for the first time.
