Government Order Issued on Transferring Working Days in 2014
Natalia Korolevska (Minister of Social Policy) informed that, in order to use working time rationally and to create convenient conditions for celebrating the New Year and Christmas holidays, there will be a week of non-working days in 2014 (from January 1 to January 7). At the same time, the length of working time will be compensated by working on subsequent weekends.

Natalia Korolevska (Minister of Social Policy) informed that, in order to use working time rationally and to create convenient conditions for celebrating the New Year and Christmas holidays, there will be a week of non-working days in 2014 (from January 1 to January 7). At the same time, the length of working time will be compensated by working on subsequent weekends.
In particular, according to the Cabinet of Ministers’ order dated 21.11.13 No. 920-r, enterprises and organizations that have a five-day working week (days off on Saturday and Sunday) are recommended to transfer working days according to the following schedule:
- from January 2 (Thursday) – to January 11 (Saturday);
- from January 3 (Friday) – to January 25 (Saturday);
- from January 6 (Monday) – to February 8 (Saturday).
On the specified days, the working schedule of banks and their branches will be determined by the National Bank of Ukraine.
