much time left ? the old KVEDs will be valid only until 31 December 2012
Why change KVEDs? The situation is easier to understand with examples.
Example 1. An entrepreneur provides real estate rental services. This type of activity currently
corresponds to KVED code 70.20.0 «Renting of own real estate». This code is also
used by entrepreneurs who sublease residential and non-residential property, land
plots and are not their owners.
Attention! As of 01.01.2013 the KVED code for this example is already different — 68.20, but its meaning has practically not
changed.
Example 2. KVED code 74.40.0 «Advertising activities»from next year will correspond to two types
of activity:
73.11 Advertising agencies
73.12 Mediation in placing advertising in the media
Example 3. Activities related to creating databases in “on-line“, creating directories,
search engines and posting other information on the Internet, — all this is currently combined under KVED code
KVED 72.40.0.
Attention! The new classifier divides this KVED into several codes, in particular:
58.21 Publishing of computer games
58.29 Publishing of other software
62.01 Computer programming
63.11 Data processing, hosting of information on websites and related activities
63.12 Web portals.
Conclusion: the new codes do not always correspond to the types of activities that entrepreneurs carry out today.
What are the consequences, if codes are not changed? In general, there is no liability for not replacing KVED codes.
However, as the old codes lose relevance, the absence of new codes being indicated in the EDR in
certain cases may cause misunderstandings with counterparties ? what exactly does the entrepreneur do?
Let us also recall the extract, which will also contain information about types of activities, which will raise questions from
state authorities, in particular the State Tax Service.
What needs to be done to replace KVED codes?
You need to contact the state registrar and provide the registration card form No.11, indicating the KVED codes. If the entrepreneur entrusts someone else to do this, ? a copy of the notarized
power of attorney must be added.
No payment is required for replacing KVED codes.
