Registration of a new company involves the following steps.

1. Planning of future activities:

• selection of the organizational form, full and short name;
• determination of the tax system;
• choice of the company’s location;
• working with KVED codes (it is also necessary to check whether your planned activity requires licensing and other permits).

2. Drafting the founding documents:

• protocol (which reflects the data on the establishment of the company and its main details);
• charter (the Cabinet of Ministers has approved a model charter that you can use for your activities. Before making changes to its text, it is necessary to check that they do not contradict the legislation of Ukraine).

3. Application to the state registrar. Company registration in Ukraine requires submission of the following documents:

• completed registration card (Form 1) – the approved form is often amended, so you need to make sure that your card corresponds to the current form. You can download the required form on the GRSU website;
• original or a copy (notarized) of the decision to create a business entity (protocol) – to avoid notarizing the protocol, sign it in 2 copies, one of which you will submit to the registrar;
• charter – two copies of the charter must be submitted to the state registrar, one of which will later be returned with a registration mark;
• other documents, depending on specific circumstances and the composition of the founders.
