After transitioning from paper to electronic RRO reporting, the former is no longer mandatory

RROAccording to a reminder from the Ministry of Revenues and Duties, as of January 1 the provisions of the law will come into force which provide that the transition to an electronic RRO data storage system eliminates the requirement to submit paper reports.

Such a system provides for the transition from control-and-reporting information in electronic form under the National Bank’s technology using form ZVR-1 to the RRO system of the Ministry of Revenues and Duties. At the time of switching to the new system, the enterprise files reporting on form ZVR-1 by the 15th day of the following month, indicating the volumes of settlement transactions for the month prior to connecting to the system and beginning work under the new standards. From the moment of connection, reporting moves from paper to electronic.

Thus, if in practice the enterprise switches to the new system on August 27, then by the 15th of the first month of autumn it files reporting on form ZVR-1, in which the volumes of transactions are indicated for the period up to August 27. For the period following the month of connection, reporting is submitted only in the new (electronic) format.

In case of errors in this matter (duplication of information), the enterprise must independently notify the authority of the Ministry of Revenues in writing.

The ministry also reminds all taxpayers who are exempt from carrying out settlement operations using RRO that they must submit the ZVR-1 report monthly.
