What is Form No. 6 or Confirmation?
In this article we will explain to you what Form 6 (Confirmation) is, why it is needed and what will happen if it is not submitted.
Thus, according to paragraph 11 of Article 19 of the Law of Ukraine On State Registration of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, a legal entity is obliged to submit Form 6 annually, within one month from the date of the enterprise’s registration.
Form 6 is a registration card that lists information about your enterprise (name, EDRPOU code, short name). It is, so to speak, an indicator that your enterprise is operating, that it is not inactive or abandoned. You make a decision to continue activities in the current year.
If you did not submit Form 6, the state registrar must send a notification (a reminder to you) about the need to submit such a form within 5 working days (from the provision of the date required for submission).
Also, if during an inspection by the tax authorities the absence of your organization at its location is discovered, the tax authorities send a request to the state registrars about the need for you to submit Form 6 (confirmation). In the event that even after this you do not inform the registrars (by submitting the confirmation), the tax authorities may decide to assign a “Status” of absence at the location to you, which, in turn, may adversely affect many aspects of your business activities.
Also, state registrars are not entitled to issue Extracts from the EDR without a properly submitted Form 6 (confirmation).
