Copy of the Cargo Customs Declaration (GTD) (must bear the customs stamp). Recipient in the GTD:
| Acceptance-transfer act of the vehicle from the domestic manufacturer on a strict reporting form. The recipient (in the act) must be indicated as either your dealership or the distributor with whom your dealership has a dealer agreement. | |
| If the vehicle was imported into Ukraine by a different dealership than the one selling you the car, a copy of the dealer agreement and the acceptance-transfer act (original) between the importing company (specified in the GTD) and the dealership are required. | In the event that the vehicle is sold to you not by the dealership to which the manufacturer issued the acceptance-transfer act, a copy of the dealer agreement and the original acceptance-transfer act between your dealership and the distributor company specified in the original manufacturer’s acceptance-transfer act are required.) | |

* – sometimes a car is purchased directly from the manufacturer (for example, a legal entity buys a large batch). In such a case the document legalizing the purchase will be the manufacturer’s acceptance-transfer act on a strict reporting form indicating the final buyer.
** – the certificate of conformity (“сертифікат відповідності”) confirms the compliance of a specific vehicle (or batch of vehicles) with technical, environmental standards and safety requirements according to Ukrainian legislation. It is issued within the state certification system “UkrSEPRO” by a company authorized to do so.
USED CAR PERSONALLY IMPORTED INTO UKRAINE
- All registration documents issued for the vehicle in another country that indicate identification numbers of the body, engine, chassis, etc. (vehicle passport, certificate of deregistration and any others);
- Documents must be translated into Ukrainian (the translation must be certified by the organization that performed it);
- Foreign license plates;
- Copy of the Cargo Customs Declaration (stamped by customs) indicating the person in whose name the vehicle is being registered;
- Certificate of conformity – original.
